Experience the Healing Power of Community
Join us in this special family workshop designed to support grieving children
and their families who have experienced the death of a sibling/child or parent.
These activities offer holistic support, allowing families to process their grief while finding strength and connection in a compassionate community.
MOVEMENT
Gentle activities that help regulate emotions and connect the body and mind. Adults have the opportunity to participate in a gentle guided stretch while kids & teens take move and groove in a hip hop style dance class (no experienced required).
BREATHWORK
Learn simple breathwork techniques that parents and children can practice together. Breathing is a natural tool that we all have access to, and when practiced together, it can foster a sense of calm, connection, and emotional release. No special equipment is needed—just a willingness to slow down and breathe deeply together.
THERAPEUTIC FAMILY ART PROJECT
Engage in a collaborative project that allows each family member to express their emotions visually through creativity. Share stories, emotions, and special moments tied to grief and love in honor of loved ones, especially as the holiday season approaches.
EMOTIONAL WELLNESS ACTIVITIES FOR KIDS
Explore feelings in a supportive space with therapeutic guidance, practicing mindfulness exercises, fostering connection and understanding, and learning tools to help process grief in a healthy way.
FEATURED SPEAKER & OPEN DISCUSSION FOR ADULTS
Led by Sarah Barber - Counselor, MS, LPC-IT, parents can find a safe space to discuss topics, ask one another questions, and receive valuable insights on navigating life after loss.
COMMUNITY CONNECTION
Build meaningful connections with other grieving families in the surrounding areas who understand your journey over some light refreshments and gentle conversation.
If you know of another family who could also benefit from this grief wellness workshop, please share this opportunity with them. We look forward to creating a meaningful experience together and consider it an honor to walk along side you and your family in grief and healing.
